This is the board you grab everyday, and it doesn’t matter if it’s pristine morning corduroy, sidehits with friends, intimidating icy steeps or bottomless pow, you’ll have the best board imaginable for the day. It defines the notion of versatility, delivering great performance in all snow conditions.
We call this our shortboard as it’s snappy, fast & rides much shorter than its length would imply. You’ll have the maneuverability of a 156 yet enjoy both the carving stability and float in powder of a much longer board.
Compared to the rest of the line, the 5’5 hits the sweet spot combining the freestyle fun vibes of the 5’2 and the big line stability of the 6’+. If that wasn’t enough, for further customization, we have three different flexes available. Choose one according to your weight and riding style: the regular 5’5 for a more freestyle flex, the 5’5 + for a stiffer all mountain ride, and the ++ for our stiffest flex, that will please former hardbooters and snowboard x racers. This is the most popular flex of our best selling board – you could call the 5’5+ the people’s choice! The reason is simple, this is the most versatile board in the line. The even flex offers stability at speed, power in turns, and a solid chassis for landings. From big mountain lines to dreamy Japanese tree runs, the 5’5+ has no limit.

Length
Better lift, without the sensation of length, this is the advantage of the Dupraz shape.
This 165 rides like a 154that's our commitment !
As you can see, the length in contact with the snow is identical for these 2 boards. A clear advantage for the Dupraz, which gains the load-bearing surface that is so useful in so many conditions...
Profile and camber
Thanks to the famous Aquasmooth Rocker (which has inspired the entire snowboard and ski industry), the tip is guaranteed to absorb irregularities in the terrain and get you off the ground in almost no time.
Construction
Nothing beats a good, solid wood core combined with tri-axial fibreglass and rubber reinforcements above the edges, which ensure the bond between the steel of the edges and the fibreglass. They also act as shock absorbers. All of this, combined with a thick sole and edges, means you'll be able to maintain your board for a long time to come!

Cette planche est tout simplement Géniale!!! C’est vraiment une sensation nouvelle en poudreuse, on flotte enfin sans devoir pousser sur l’arrière comme un malade… Après quelques courbes, on prend confiance, mais oui ca flotte même en équilibre 50/50, incroyable!!! Sur piste, c’est terrible, elle accélère et dépose à peu près n’importe qui. En peuf, rien à redire c’est GEANT! (Rider specs : 182cm – 68 kg – Expert)
