Since 1 December 2003, Serge Dupraz has concentrated on shaping snowboards, offering timeless products with a unique and distinctive design. He goes against the grain of annual collections, encouraging more responsible production and reducing the incentive to buy a new board every year.

From the outset, Serge Dupraz has favoured European manufacturing, carried out in democratic countries by skilled craftsmen who enjoy social rights. What's more, the materials used in manufacture are deliberately of the highest quality to ensure the exceptional longevity that characterises Dupraz snowboards.

“No compromise”

Although the DNA of my brand dates back to well before 2003, and the birth of Dupraz-snow through my skills as a shaper, it was with the arrival of my iconic model, the D1, that I decided to change the lines.

Gone are the plethoric ranges, back to basics with a gun of powder and deep snow capable of carving like no other on the piste.

Serge Vitteli and his V-turn have no equal and this image of the ultimate curve resonates with every rider of my generation, but it was in a team that I created and on a board that I designed that this feat was made possible.

From then on, I did everything I could to bring it to everyone.

Driving is one of the main pillars of my brand, and pleasure is the other. How can you fail to marvel at a field of powder that opens up before you and let go while enjoying this feeling of ultimate freedom?

Time stands still, the elements around you take on their full brilliance and the sensation of 'snowboarding' takes on its full meaning.

That's the spirit in which Dupraz was born and is developing, and I'm proud of it!

"My convictions

Marque différente, pour riders différents. “Humain avant tout”.

The freedom of the rider is meaningless without taking into account his playing field.

I wouldn't be greenwashing you by selling you greener or less polluting boards, because our 'industry' has not yet freed itself from certain unavoidable processes.

Nevertheless, I keep a close eye on this and work with my colleagues on a daily basis on these small everyday gestures that make all the difference for me.

For me, choosing to produce in Europe for a European market was a minimum requirement.

Choose teams and presses that manufacture in a democratic country,

by respecting labour and workers' rights helps me sleep soundly at night.

Choose a production unit that is sensitive to the need for local materials,

glues without toxic volatile compounds, water-based inks, etc. as well.

I want to make a profit to keep my business going, but not at any price.

This proximity allows me to limit emissions as much as possible, during prototyping or deliveries, and when we exchange, many of these calls are now online.

The choice of a limited range and models with a proven longevity (more than 10 years between renewals by our riders) ultimately confirmed my decision to go down a consistent and sustainable path.
