Breckenridge World Cup 89
Here is the podium of the World Cup Snowboard Super-G - Breckenridge 88-89.
Here's the story of André Maszewski, member of the Hot Pro Team:
"Starting with bib number 69 and knowing that the first 3 riders finished within 3/100s of a second, I didn't have much hope for this race.
As it had snowed in the morning, the route was particularly deep and irregular. My Hot Snowboards prototype and its carving skills allowed me to draw a line higher than all the others. At the crossing of the finish line, while Craig Kelly was being interviewed as the winner on TV, my whole team screamed: I was in the lead, almost 2 seconds ahead of the others! I could not believe it. My run, all in fluidity but fast, brought me a first unexpected victory in this World Cup. It's a blessing to have these memories. Thanks to Serge Dupraz for putting together the very first Pro Team snowboarding team with a full-time paid coach and the best alpine carving boards ever. Thanks to Luc Faye, our coach, for his intensive physical training and technical training that was both fun and challenging.
As far as memories go, it was the best race ever for me!

André says: "I remember getting back on this board 4 years later in Sölden, Austria and making the most beautiful turns on hard snow that I had made in a long time with it. And really regretted having developed much stiffer boards with very radical sidecuts. This board, on hard snow, was a real rail!
